Lives up to its name. I couldn't recommend a better quick weekend getaway. Low effort, inexpensive, fun, safe, friendly.
I remember my mother taking my sister and I here year after year. Now I got to take my own family to Bear Den. Not much has changed. Which is the way it should be. Everyone is super nice and brings a good feeling when you are there. Pumpkins were great value, petting zoo is always a nice. Hayride left early so we had to wait, that was the only bad thing. Other than that. It's been the same since I remember as a young child. Good to see them still thriving and bringing back old memories.
We had a wonderful time petting all the animals. My daughters loved the bunnies, chicks, and kittens at the entrance. The highlight of the trip was hanging out withe the lemurs. All of the animals were very calm and friendly. Great place to visit!

Wonderful place that I've been coming to since I was a child, and now I get the joys of taking my kids. The animals are fun to look at, some are available to be touched, extremely clean and well maintained. Could have more outdoor seating since we took my mother who doesn't get around easily anymore. Otherwise, great place for kids and adults!

2. Only 1 restroom
Absolutely loved it! Went on father's day got a special deal. My nine year old even got to hold a lemur. I was totally blown away. For the money this place can't be beat if your looking for a nice little morning with awesome animals!!
